Connecticut Valley Comics

 was formed as a resource for both stand-up comedians in the Springfield, MA, Hartford, CT area and the public at large. Stand-up comedy has had a resurgence in in popularity in recent years, with shows like NBC's "Last Comic Standing" and HBO's "Def Comedy Jam" and Comedy Specials, and the syndicated "Whose Line Is It Anyway". All this attention to comedy has produced a bumper crop of stand-up comics in the Connecticut River Valley, not privy to a national stage- but funny nonetheless. CTValley Comics provides a venue for these funny people to get a little exposure to the public and a way for the public to contact them.
